Kaimurai is the identity through which Abhishek Ganesh Jayashree expresses his Art and research practice. His body of work is a dialogue between organic forms and the flow of energy experienced in the Western Ghats, Ancient South Indian art, rituals , architecture and Carnatic music. The Open Studio of Kaimurai after a one month residency at Lakshmi Nivas Studio, Parudur was a unique experience for the visitors which was held on 22.05.2022. Through is works Kaimurai questions our constant tussle with Nature. He believes we have left no room for forms of life and hopes for a more existential future.
